.amens die. a dark land constantly cast with shadows, ghosts, and fear. mostly thick, dusky forest filled with old furs and crumbling boulders, you might happen to stumble upon a color-leeched clearing, or jagged ravines that a littered with skeletons. this land is mostly used for the wicked-- breeding and claiming are aloud here. .fraude et sanguine. pillars of stained ivory rise from the crimson soil, large, fissured plateaus etched with designs are frequent in this place. the earth here is rust colored clay in of which no forage can sprout; only whithered, pathetic vines and once powerful trees can offer camouflage. this land is meant only for fighting. .insania derelicta. neverending, never changing flat lands dominate this terra. the grasses are course, yellowed, and tangled, no matter the season. snow knows no boundries here, and it seems that there is a perpetual overcast above this place, which means that it is not uncommon to find patches of crystalized white amongst the grasses. this land is for claiming, seeing as you have nowhere to go once you enter. .senex iuvenes. the air here is always warm because of the hot springs that boil beneath the crust, sometimes, if you're lucky, you might venture upon an open pool of steaming water. the ground is always soft, and the sun seems to be consistantly driving the dusk away, twisting through the slender alders and haunting maples. this land is for birthing only. .leo vivit. this is the terra that greats you when you first approach the bestia herd lands, it is barren, a desert really, and it wraps completely around the rest of the lands, protecting them from the worst of the elements. the soil is not much but dried red clay, and huge boulders rise above the land like guardians. thankfully, it only takes an hour to cross, otherwise one would die of dehydration or starvation, seeing as there is not a drop of water to be found here. .mori conatur. this terra is the closest one to leo vivit, but contrary to its close neighbour, lush, emerald grasses and succulent forage domminate these lands. underground streams nourish the flora here, and they are commonly seen arching out against hillsides or cascading down cliffs in the form of waterfalls. this land helps prepare you for the one to come after it. .pacifica amor. completely lifeless, the pacifica is hell on earth, filled with predators and poisonous things. if you make it through this winding jungle of vines, sodden logs, and thick, deep colored ferns...well, its worth it, to say the least. Moderators: REJECT, .comatose. |

.vivere. this is the center of those protective lands, a large, hidden paradise protected so well that those who come rarely leave. the grasses are lush, the forests thick and the rivers clear. the vivere is the best of the lands that surround it, a safe haven made up of soft red sands, steep, protective cliffsides, a jungle of forest, and large, bubbling pools in the very center of it all. the hot springs surface here, and the air is kept warm, humid, and heavy. the springs are expertly placed around glacial streams and rivers, waterfalls and cool pools for the summer time. it is a paradise lost and found once more here. .murum viridi. A green wall. That's the perfect way to describe it. Tall, dark green trees, shoved together to form a wall. Once you get through the first layers, there's another. Then another. Then another. It seems to go on for at least seven more walls, before you break through. Moderators: REJECT, .comatose. |

.cataracta rupes. Tall, steep cliffs with waterfalls cascading down and winding down quickly. Usually deadly, they do their job to protect what's below. Small ledges barely big enough to fit a hoof, a horse must climb down to get to the bottom, to the finish. Moderators: REJECT, .comatose. |

.inclusi valle. After what a horse has been through, it's definitivily nice to end up where you are. Deep creeks to swim through, usually warm from the sun. Cascading waterfalls wind down the cliffs and hills that protect, and lush, emerald grass dances in the wind. Large trees canopy over, great protection from rain. .eximius flumine. the eximius is nothing of what you'd expect the oppidum lands to be, flat prarie lands for miles, with the occasional brave sapling rising above the jumble of thick emerald grasses and tangled vines. the forage here is of the finest quality, but it is very easy to get turned around and lost in the eximius, everything looks the same, so only the brave and desperate venture out far. on occasion the eximuis connects with the leo vivit, a close terrain that loops wide around the caeli lands, metis terras. the eximius is commonly used for disputes between herd members, although not much else can be accomplished here. .insanis terras. cliffs and waterfalls are pretty much all this terra is, slate and shale and weather-harded rock, with roaring falls gliding inbetween. the insanis is small compared to all the other lands, if you stand right in the middle you can see all of the caeli lands to the north, all of the bestia lands to the east, and all of the oppidum lands to the south. because of its small size insanis terras is only used for breeding, no galloping or fighting can happen here because of the loose rock and powerfull waterfalls. .dolor nocere. the nocere is pretty much just the insanis terras simplified, soft sands with the occasional rock formation jutting out of the ground. it is not a true desert here, grasses still grow around the streams that you might happen upon, and hard forage can still be found, so this place is very popular amongst younger horses who want to play or have mock-battles. the sun never heats the air too hot, and the nights are always pleasant, which makes this the ideal place for any worn, turned around traveller. .obscura bellatrix. the obscura is very hot, the sun beats down on these lands all day long, and the hot springs surface here more than would one would have expected. because of the harsh, desert like enviroment here, the oppidum herd usually stays in one of the other terras, although, on occasion, you will find a few brave souls toughing it out in the shade of cactus or in damp caves.
